Box Cards

Hello and a big thank you to everyone that joined in last weeks challenge and painted the rainbow.  It was lovely to see all your brightly coloured creations.

It's Dawn here with this weeks challenge.  I have totally become addicted to Pinterest and whilst browsing through all the lovely craft projects I came across box cards.  Its a box that folds flat like a card but pops up like a box.  You can then fill them with whatever embellishments you like.

So this weeks challenge is all about

BOX CARDS

If you are unsure what I mean check out what the Design Team came up with.

Paint the rainbow

Thanks to those who chose to eschew superstition last week and instead made fabulous cards.

Paint the Rainbow
It's Lythan here this time, and its a bit dismal down here in Devon at the moment so this weeks dare is really brightening me up. I would like you to make a card featuring a rainbow or using rainbow colours - you don't have to use them all but they do need to be in the right order!
Here is some fantastic inspiration to get your imagination going

Triskaidekaphobia

Good morning out there!

It’s Svenja here and first of all I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who let themselves be inspired by lasts week’s picture inspiration challenge. It really had that summery feeling of bikes and picnics, don’t you think?

Today it’s Friday 13th and some of us might feel a little triskaidekaphobic about it which is why I decided that my challenge needs to be

good luck

– just for that little extra bit that might be needed…

Extra (virtual) brownie points for anyone who shows signs of good luck-superstitiousness, e.g. lucky clover, horseshoes, chimney sweeps… what else can you think of?

Still no idea where to start? Look at the lovely inspiration the Design Team has prepared for you:

May Elemental Inspiration

Thank you very much for sharing your lovely, romantic cards with us. We loved seeing them all
We are happy to introduce a new Guest Designer this week,
Please say "hello" to
who is our very first GD from India, and will be sharing  her wonderful
creativity with us over the next few weeks

It’s Kathy here this time, and because it’s the first Friday of the month we have our usual "Elemental Inspiration" challenge for you

All you have to do is pick three elements (if you use the colour palette it counts as one element) which inspire you and use them on your card.

The elements from this picture could be:
Arch, stone, wood, bicycle/wheels, door/aperture, basket, cases, railings, plant stand, leaves, LO
Here's a little sketch of the LO in case you fancy using that as one of your elements
Here's what the Design Team created, we hope you'll have fun creating with us this week
