Feeling Krafty

Hi everyone it's Fran here with my first dare (how fun!) but before I tell you what's in-store this week, we'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who challenged themselves with the "Banksy" dare, such great cards you shared with us last week!
This week I'd like you to be...
Feeling Krafty
I'd like you to use 'natural' items on your projects, ie. wood, leaves, kraft card, balsa wood, cork, burlap, rope, natural twine etc. The choice is endless, you just need a bit of imagination!
There is a catch though - you must use 3 natural items not just a bit of kraft card!

Banksy

Hey everyone, it's Samm here today,
Thank you to everyone who shared their fabulous and "so kawaii" cards with us for Leo's challenge last week, what a fab lot of things we saw!

It's my turn to set the dare this week and my challenge is
'Inspired by Banksy'
If you're not aware of who he is, then pop on by Banksy.co.uk and take a look at some of his amazing street art across the world - you could also try a Google Image search on "Banksy" to find lots of fabulous ideas for your card.
So now is your chance to dig out those stencils, use that paint, throw in a few ironic sayings and give your card some 'street life' and show us what you've created. Don't forget to link us up at the bottom of this post.

So Kawaii

Hey there it's Leo here with my first dare, eek! But before I tell you about my challenge I'd like to say a big Thank you to everyone who joined in last week and shared their wonderful Gladioli and Poppy cards - what a lovely bouquet we saw!
Now, I love anything kawaii so this week I want you to travel to Japan to get your inspiration and create a card that is

so kawaii!

Kawaii means anything that is lovable, hug-able and basically cute! Think Hello Kitty and food with smiley faces. Most of the colours in kawaii are sugary, fun and bright so I want to see a little fun bright pop colour too.If you're totally stumped this week check out my favourite kawaii blog for some super cute inspiration, http://www.supercutekawaii.com/
Check out the delish work the design team have come up with this week, sooooooo kawaii!
Have fun
xx Leo

Birth Month Flowers for August

Thank you so much for joining in with Sharon's first dare over the past week. Your "Cute as a Button" cards were exactly that and we so enjoyed visiting your blogs to seem them all.
Thanks to to our lovely Guest Designer Angela for sharing her beautiful creations with us during July - it was a real treat to have her with us and we will miss seeing her cards on the blog

This week it's the first challenge of the month, so that means we'd like you to use the flowers associated with the month of August as the starting point for your cards. August's flowers are
Poppies and Gladioli
You can use either flower, or both of them as the inspiration for your cards and as usual the team have got some ideas to show you which we hope will get you thinking.
Please come back and leave a link and message so we know where to visit to see your creations. Happy Crafting!
